Going to go pick up my car from service, do a couple of errands then make a 'sammich'.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday... flew past.

And tomorrow will be here before I know it.

With this comes round three interview (with an international guest thrown in for good measure)

Me? Nervous? A little, Yeah.

Saturday

Tonight I spent the night alone, and I entertained myself, somewhat poorly, but at least I drew a bit... It's a start. Probably shouldve tried before the glasses of wine.

(other than this sketch, others included pages of eyes and lips, partial faces and skulls... the usual...)

I need to draw more. I keep saying this, but I am lacking confidence in my skills... weird yes, as I only draw for me... but I am my own critic and feel disappointed that I'm so rusty since I stopped doodling more regularly.

However, I am still so content when I am holding a pencil to paper.

Reality

Positive update: Got a third round interview next week .

Will know more following the long weekend.

Spent the evening musing with M over pizza, about things to talk about in my interview.

Realising he is very smart. (I knew this, but, even more so)

And he knows a lot about many things that I know little to nothing about.

So grown up? Impressed. Very.

The list of reasons, why I love him, keeps growing exponentially.

He is so lovely. On so many levels.

The reality is that this makes me want to catch up, much faster. To get up to that same level.

Even just one of them would be impressive.

My chair is itchy.

Corporate

Had my second round interview today. Now the waiting game.

I am also looking very corporate and not very me, but I guess I could get used to dressing up this formal everyday.

Just a little harder to be interesting, but I'm thinking this can be remedied once I give it a little thought and attention (or receive donations from Lanvin, among others)

Also, more blisters that I thought possible after a couple of days in heels... I blame the combination of my newly pedicured baby soft feet and new heels (non-leather inner...I should've known better yes)

Due to my corporate get-up (I can only assume)I got better service in Myer for one, no shoe sizing lines for me.

(and now have new shoes, all leather, lesson learnt)

Edit: On another note, I have indeed noticed that my week's agenda has fallen slightly by the wayside, but for good reason, I did have interviews to attend.

However, I did manage to buy my shelving unit. Although, I have not dared tackle assembly as yet. Domestic bliss, to be continued

I saw you for a whole ten minutes this weekend and it was great.

I even wore my new happy undies to celebrate.

On this week's agenda: Housekeeping (and Job hunting)

Cleaning out my wardrobe/putting things on eBay

(this one is so daunting, just writing it is exhausting me)

Purchasing a shelving unit I like at IKEA, maybe some frames and hooks

And if i find a nice big comfy chair, that too.

Also, do some drawing, maybe... I need to relax.

Oh, I also have new shoes (new love of neutrals, beige, stone... you get the idea)

It was everyone's birthday this weekend.

First stop Hannah Banana's 25th at Melt.

Now I am more travelled, but no wiser.

There are no photos post 9:30pm after the initial stop.

Lucky lucky lavender

So, I got woken up and dragged out of my room(shocking) today by the lovely La on her day off...

Had sushi and did a little retail therapy.

• some navy lacey lingerie
• nailpolish (OPI lucky lucky lavender - though thinking its more pinkish than purple now but still nice)
• a HUGE tub full of chewable vit C (work your magic!)
• little beige dress (long sleeve, knitted, v neck, bandagey type skirt area...?)

La also found herself magical pants.

You know, the type...

perfect-butt-lifting-leg-lengthening-comfortable-go-with-everything-sexy-as-hell-black-jeans.

Applause is totally necessary.

Oh, and THEN got pedicures in massage chairs. YO.

Now THAT is a girlie day.

Of glittering glass and burning light
