you can't be me, i'm a rockstar...

love my girls...

Vogue - August, 1965

My vogue arrived today... and it's just lovely. Something to cheer me up a little considering this food poisoning (or whatever this hell is) doesn't seem to be going away.

I don't like Mondays

Something about this particular Monday, spent sick at home, holed up in my bedroom, made me think about how much I love my friends and how much I hated how my life used to be.

I can't believe I used to be insecure around certain people, intimidated by others and then thought that if i did not surround myself with these people, I would not be able to go on by myself.

As it turns out, I am perfectly fine without any of them and also perfectly fine alone.
And surprisingly, by being alone I have also built truer, closer and much more real friendships along the way.

You know who you all are and what you have done for me.
And for those of you who don't know, you will.
I don't deserve you, but I will spend the time it takes making it all up to you.

Thankyou.

Muffin McLay like a bundle of hay,

Bitzer Maloney all skinny and bony,

Schnitzel von Krumm with a very low tum,

With tails in the air they trotted on down past the shops and the park to the far end of town.
They sniffed at the smells and they snooped at each door, when suddenly, out of the shadows they saw...

SCARFACE CLAW the toughest Tom in town.

"EEEEEOWWWFFTZ!"said Scarface Claw.

Off with a yowl, a wail and a howl, a scatter of paws and a clatter of claws,
went Schnitzel von Krumm with a very low tum, Bitzer Maloney all skinny and bony,
Muffin McLay like a bundle of hay,
Bottomly Potts covered in spots,
Hercules Morse as big as a horse

and Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy

straight back home to bed.
